Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) Overview

The Diploma in Pharmacy is a two-year program comprising four semesters, offering an in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical sciences. The curriculum covers essential subjects such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Clinical Pharmacy.

Our Specialty

1. Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Delve into the molecular intricacies of pharmaceutical compounds, exploring their synthesis, chemical behavior, and mechanisms of action. Gain a deep understanding of drug design, emphasizing structure-activity relationships that drive therapeutic effectiveness.

2. Pharmacology

Understand the science of how drugs interact with biological systems, affecting various organs and physiological functions. Students receive hands-on training in experimental pharmacology through both in-vitro and in-vivo methodologies.

3. Pharmaceutics

Master the art and science of formulating and developing pharmaceutical dosage forms. Learn about advanced drug delivery systems and analytical techniques integral to quality assurance and drug development.

4. Pharmacognosy

Investigate the medicinal properties of natural sources, including plants and animal derivatives. This field focuses on the extraction, characterization, and standardization of bioactive compounds from natural materials used in traditional and modern medicine.

5. Clinical Pharmacy

Bridge the gap between pharmacy theory and patient care. Learn to optimize therapeutic outcomes through the study of drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, dosage adjustments, and therapeutic drug monitoring in clinical settings.
